jenny moseley - director
Jenny followed the European legislation affecting direct marketing from as early as 1982 in her role as Assistant Vice President and European Circulation Director for the National Geographic Society. Jenny researched and advised on the potential threats to direct marketing from the Data Protection Directive in the early 1980’s whilst serving on the Board of British List Brokers’ Association. From 1992 for a period of ten years, Jenny served as Data Protection Controller for National Geographic’s multiple product marketing programmes, working with internal departments, licensees, joint ventures and subsidiary companies to develop a policy of compliance for the whole of Europe. Jenny was Vice Chairman of FEDMA (Federation of European Direct Marketing) for five years and was heavily involved in the lobbying for self regulation in direct marketing at a European level. Having spent several years as a Board Member for the Direct Marketing Association, Jenny served two years as its Chairman completing that tenure in 2003. Jenny is a regular speaker on issues of data protection, electronic communications privacy regulations, self regulation, distance selling, sales promotion and other European legislation and its influence on international direct marketing, particularly in the publishing arena. Jenny is also Chairman of Jenny Moseley Marketing. |
